Clinical laboratories play vital in healthcare service. The laboratory test results are useful for diagnosis, treatment and monitoring therapy and diagnosis. Thus, laboratory test requires quality assurance. The advancement in research lead to the development of new analytical method. Clinical chemistry test is one of the most commonly requested test. The growing demand for the better lab test not only come from medical practitioner but also from the society. Awareness in strengthening quality of quality assurance is due to the lack of participation. It could have been resulted from lack of understanding on meaning, objective and benefit of strengthening quality assurance of clinical laboratory.
