This research is aimed to identify the factors behind domestic violence, the forms of the violence mostly experienced by housewives and to analyze the tackling method for Housewives as the Victims of Domestic Violence caused by husbands treatments in Tambak Lorok Semarang. The methods of the data collection are observation by field research in some locations in which the women experience domestic violence reported by the local apparatus and finding the factors of the violence and the tackling, in-depth interview with the women of Islamic religious groups and wifes of society groups, and questionnaires distribution to housewives in Tambak Lorok Semarang. The factors behind domestic violence are mostly economy, love affairs is the second factor, and the absence of opennes and good domestic communication. The form of violence with the highest percentage is psycological and physical with no actions taken as a solution.
