Communication ability is a compulsory ability for student. This statement is based on the ministry of education law in 2006 about basic graduate competence. As consequences, communication has to be one of the aspects that are developed in mathematics learning including ability to communicate with textbook. Solving calculus task using reading strategy (before reading, reading, after reading) construct bridge knowledge in the past and in the present. In the other hand one stay-the rest stray strategy is a learning group method that can help student to express understanding, speaking, thinking process, and clarify understanding. By using reading strategy and one stay-the rest stray strategy build good communication process that can make mathematics learning easier.
