Abstract

Health problems experienced by a person can not be seen in the perspective of the patient as an individual, but must be seen in the perspective of the individual as a member of the family,because people living in the context of the family as a context for individual in the family .Dimention mean that the problems that occur in family members will be overcome by increasing ability and independence of families facing the problem. Families with problems of family members who experience pain or illness often makes the family is unable to meet the health care needs or with other terms to experience the powerlessness that result in the deterioration of health conditions of family members who suffer from health problems. Family nursing interventions needed to address the problem of powerlessness family. These
interventions are aimed at enhancing the ability of families in health, among others; the ability of families to know the health problems encountered, take appropriate decisions to address health problems and the ability to care for sick family members. Family empowerment intervention is one of the interactive interventions that can be used to help families establish family empowerment process. Family empowerment intervention was based on the belief that every family has the potential and ability to grow and become more independent.
