Abstract

Pregnancy is a period where demand and nutrition consumption will increase. Nutrition which is consumed daily is very rarely fulfilled in accordance with the needed vitamin and mineral, so it needs additional multivitamin to meet
needs during pregnancy.

Consumption of adequate nutrition will maximize maternal health and improving the healthy development of the fetus, while the state of malnutrition will result in impaired fetal growth and development.

The use of drugs during pregnancy also requires attention and supervision. Drug consumption during pregnancy can lead directly to the fetus, if not pay attention to the effects. Excessive use of drugs during pregnancy is associated with miscarriage, premature delivery, low birth weight, stillbirth and abnormalities, so it is important to pay attention to the use of drugs during pregnancy.
